I hope you all are staying warm this week! I tried to stick to the warm and cheap events this weekend as best of possible for January 26-27, 2013 in Boston & beyond. Here’s some ideas of cheap and fun things to do:

Institute of Contemporary Art: Saturday, January 26, 2013. The last Saturday of every month, the ICA is free for families (up to two adults accompanied by children 12 and under).

1369 Coffee House 20th Anniversary Celebration: Saturday, 26, 2013 from 8-5pm. In honor of their 20th Anniversary, 1369 Coffee House will be giving free food all day with music and fun at both locations. Donations to charity are appreciated. For more information, please visit here.

Red Sox Kids Nation Winterfest: Saturday 26, 2013 from 10-4pm at Fenway Park. Join a video game tournament, meet Wally the green monster, play carnival games, and even audition to sing the national anthem or be the next announcer at Fenway Park. Free.

Harvard Art Museum: Saturday, January 26, 2013. From 10am-12pm on Saturdays, Massachusetts residents can explore the museum for free with proper Mass ID.

Harvard Museum of Natural History and Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Sunday, January 27, 2013. Mass residents can visit the Harvard Museum of Natural History and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology for free on Sundays from 9am-12pm with proof of residency.

Happy Weekend and Stay Warm!
