There was an article over the summer, Zooey Deschanel never pays late fees and other 5 smart money lessons from celebrities, which was a good read.
The celebrity advice inspired my money saving tip for this week: Spend Smart. I think it is important to spend smart (and in moderation) no matter how big or small the income is.
Zooey Deschanel always pays off her credit card (apparently) every month and doesn’t hold a balance. She doesn’t overspend nor does she pay unnecessary interest on her credit card. Kristen Bell uses coupons to help pay for purchases and doesn’t over pay for items.
Too many people spend money they haven’t earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like. ~Will Smith
It is important not to overspend money whether you have a lot or a little amount and to find the right balance. Try to steer clear of impulse purchases and spend your money smart.
