*Every Monday throughout 2014 I will be sharing Money Savings Tips to help stick to and expand your budget!
The official kick off of summer is the end of the week and it can be pretty exciting organizing summer plans and trips. However, since every Monday I share a variety of money saving tips, I wanted today’s to be a simple money saving reminder: Ignore the Joneses.
Ignore what extravagant vacation plans and other summer plans others have and concentrate on what you do have. Keep an eye on your financial goals and remember why you are saving money.
Please try your best to ignore what others are doing and concentrate on yourself. It is okay to say no to expensive summer concerts and other summer activities. There are a lot of fun and free things to do in the summer that will still keep you entertained!
So here’s to a great summer of ignoring the Joneses! (And make sure to check this blog often this summer, because there are some really great free events and activities this summer I can’t wait to share!)
