Yesterday Mayor Menino announced free meter parking in the Back Bay through Sunday, April 28, 2013 to encourage people to return and support Boylston Street shops and restaurants. The free parking will be from Arlington Street to Mass Ave, as well as meter spots adjacent to the Public Gardens.
So return Back to the Back Bay, grab a free meter parking spot, and use the money saved on parking to tip your server a little extra this weekend, and then some if you can swing it.
