Every Friday I share fun and budget-friendly things to do in the Greater Boston Area. However, I think everyone has different experiences and tricks to stay on budget in the city and I wanted to highlight YOU and your favorite budget-friendly things to do in the city.
The best part: Share a budget-friendly tip and if it is featured on Boston on Budget’s Feature Friday this summer, you will receive a $10 eGift Card of your choice.
To ensure I will accept your budget-friendly tip, I created a few guidelines to let you know what I’m looking for:
- Make sure your budget-friendly suggestion can be emulated. No past events or tips that only you can take advantage of just because you know someone. (Jealous)
- Make sure you have done this! Feature Fridays are all about sharing your favorite things, so make sure you have experience with what you are sharing. (This includes future events because it hasn’t happened yet. However, for example, if you do free Friday Flicks at the Hatch Shell every year and have some budget-friendly tips that would add value, you can certainly share it!)
- Please do not have an alternative motive. This is not the spot to promote a product, affiliate links, backlinks to your website, etc. (PR managers should contact me directly.)
- Please share an unique budget-friendly suggestion for the blog and please do not submit anything already mentioned frequently on the blog or a previous Feature Friday post like suggested donation at the MFA on Wednesdays, Discount Ice Bar tickets, Free Georgetown Cupcakes, and more. I really don’t want your tip to be denied because it was mentioned last week here!
- And be different! You don’t want to be denied because two other people shared the same idea!
I will be reading and reviewing them on an on-going basis this summer, so you don’t have to submit a tip right away, but it does have to be during the summer season.
If you are interested, please fill out the quick form below with your idea. You do not have to write the full tip, but you do need to give me an idea of the budget-friendly suggestion, when it’s available and last time you took advantage of this. If you’d like to attend a future budget-friendly event and then write about it, feel free to share your tip idea and when you will be attending.
The Contact Form is no longer available
I will send you an e-mail within a few days to see if it the budget-friendly tip would be a good fit for the blog. If your tip is approved, you will be asked to write a few sentences and submit a picture, if possible. Once the tip is shared, you will receive a $10 eGift Card of your choice!
Good luck and have fun! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below or send me an e-mail at Kate {at} BostonOnBudget.com!
