South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 1pm in South Boston. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the second largest parade in the United States. Free.

St. Pats Day at The Hall: March 15-17, 2014 at The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxboro. Wear Patriots Green Gear to The Hall from March 15-17 and get into the Hall for free! (Although I don’t know what Patriots Green Gear is; green Pats shirts?)

Taste of Iceland: March 14-18, 2014 throughout Boston. Get a taste of what Iceland is like at this 5-day event highlighting Iceland’s food and music. Many events are free and you can find all events here.

Harvard Museum of Natural History: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Sunday morning from 9am to Noon year-round with proof of residency

Free Boston CrossFit: Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 12-1pm. Every Saturday enjoy free (indoor) CrossFit class in the Back Bay.

Kids Free Winter Weekends at Old Sturbridge Village: Every weekend through March, 2014, head west to visit the Old Sturbridge Village where kids get in free!

Dine Out Boston: March 16-21 & 23-28, 2014 at participating restaurants across Boston! Restaurant Week has been transformed into Dine Out Boston with three different pricing options. Head to your favorite or discover a new favorite restaurant in the city!
