Happy long weekend. I’m just going to ignore the upcoming weather forecasts and hope that we can enjoy a snow and shovel-free weekend. Wouldn’t that be nice?
As you probably know, Saturday is Valentine’s Day. If you have a valentine and looking for some cheap date ideas, here are 5 inexpensive date ideas in Boston during the winter and around 50 cheap date ideas in Boston & Beyond!
Also, if you or a family member has next week off for February Vacation, I have a roundup of budget-friendly things to do during February Vacation Week in Massachusetts!
As always, if it does snow, make sure you look up the event specifically to make sure it hasn’t been cancelled or delayed due to snow. Also, free meter parking is expected on Monday for President’s Day so hopefully there won’t be any more snow and/or parking bans in place.
Here’s a few ideas of cheap things to do this weekend:
Free National Parks Weekend: February 14-16, 2015 at all 401 National Parks! All national parks are free for this long weekend so it’s a great opportunity to explore a national park for free!

Harvard Art Museums: Massachusetts residents are admitted free every Saturday morning from 10am to Noon year-round with proof of residency
