Hopefully you will have a 3-day weekend ahead of you! Here’s a few ideas of fun and inexpensive events and activities to do this extra long Veteran’s day weekend in and around Boston! Oysterfest at Lansdowne Pub: Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 12-4pm at the Lansdowne Pub. Enjoy this annual Oysterfest with $1 Oysters, A Cappella music, and more!

Allston 27th Annual Open Studios: November 9-10, 2013 from 12-6pm. Stop by local artists studios in Allston as they open their doors for free to check out their work of art!

Community Chamber Concert: November 10, 2013 at 3pm at Hibernian Hall in Roxbury. Enjoy a free BSO concert on Sunday afternoon at Hibernian Hall. Must RSVP.

Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at Strand Theatre: Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2pm at Strand Theatre in Dorchester. Enjoy a free community concert featuring Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

27th Annual Boston Christmas Festival: November 8-10, 2013 at the Seaport World Trade Center. Check out this annual Christmas crafts festival and get some great holiday ideas and gifts! Tickets for Adults 15 and over are $12, but save $2 with this printable coupon.

Boston Comedy Stand-Up Festival: November 8-16, 2013 at Davis Square Theatre. 96 up and coming comedians will be performing throughout the week in Somerville starting on Friday night. Ticket prices vary from $12-$25, but you can find discount tickets through Goldstar for $6 (plus service fee) and $6 discount tickets through Groupon (affiliate links).

15th Annual WCRB Classical Cartoon Festival: November 9, 2013 at 10am at Symphony Hall. Kids of all ages can watch their favorite WB cartoons set to classical music along with live performances and more! Tickets are $15, but discount tickets are available through Goldstar Boston for $8.75 (aff. link) + service fee.
